Welcome to Goucher College Family Weekend 2012!
Please complete the following registration form to indicate which events you will be attending. You will be asked to supply guest, student and race participant information at the bottom of the page. If you are registering race participants for the Renie Amoss Race you will be also asked to register them on a separate page.

There is a $10 required registration fee per Family Weekend registration regardless of number of attendees. Please check the box below to indicate that you are aware this will be automatically added to your registration total.

This does not apply to those registering ONLY for the Renie Amoss race; if you are registering only for the race please proceed to that section below.



Friday, October 5
Family Shabbat Dinner
5:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m., Heubeck Hall (Multipurpose Room A)
Goucher Hillel invites you to a traditional family-style Shabbat dinner. We will begin with Shabbat traditions, followed by a few words from a special speaker. Tickets must be purchased in advance at Family Weekend registration. Students on the meal plan will not be charged; however, tickets for students must be reserved in advance.

Maryland Crab Feast
5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m., Dorsey Center Courtyard
Enjoy a true Maryland feast of local crabs, fried chicken, pit beef, fresh corn, and other traditional fare. Tickets must be purchased in advance at Family Weekend registration. Students are not covered under their meal plan, so a ticket must be purchased for each student attending.

Community Lunch
12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m., Athenaeum, Hyman Forum
Enjoy a variety of Goucher student entertainment, while eating lunch in the exciting Athenaeum venue. Tickets must be purchased in advance at Family Weekend registration.

Sunday, October 7
Renie Amoss Race
9 a.m., Decker Sports & Recreation Center
This annual run/walk is held in memory of Corene "Renie" Amoss who died in 1993, shortly after graduating from Goucher. Proceeds from the memorial run go towards the Renie Amoss Fund, which grants two monetary awards each school year to eligible Goucher College students. The run begins at 9 a.m.

Sunday Jazz Brunch
10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Stimson Dining Hall
Enjoy brunch featuring the smooth sounds of live jazz performed by Goucher students and an opportunity to meet and greet President Ungar. Parents and visitors must purchase tickets in advance at Family Weekend registration. Students on the meal plan will not be charged but may not swipe guest meals for this event.
